While working on the film “The Revenant” an actor with a striking face in costume and make up was getting ready to start his day. I looked at him and thought he would be a remarkable sculpture.

I asked him if I could take his picture and after some thought he said yes. I feel the result not only captures his likeness, but the regal nature of this character.
